A man has been arrested following a crash on the A38 where a vehicle overturned. The incident happened on Thursday, January 18, at around 3.45pm.
Officers from Devon and Cornwall Police, as well as fire crews from Ashburton and Buckfastleigh, and an ambulance, where all sent to the scene. On arrival they found that a vehicle had flipped onto its side.
The driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries during the collision. One person has been arrested in connection with the incident on suspicion driving under the influence of drugs.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at around 3.45pm to the A38 at Dean Prior following reports that a vehicle had flipped to the side of the road.
“The driver sustained minor injuries. The vehicle was recovered and the road was cleared at around 6pm.
“A 21-year-old man from Exeter was arrested on suspicion driving under the influence of drugs. He has since been released under investigation whilst enquiries are ongoing.”
Buckfastleigh fire station added: “We were called to a road traffic collision on the A38 at Dean Prior on arrival we found all persons free and clear of the vehicle and proceeded with our friends from Ashburton Fire Station to make the vehicle safe.”
