Two of ITV’s most popular game shows, Tipping Point and The Chase, have been removed from the air for the entire week. The broadcaster has undergone a significant TV rescheduling to accommodate the coverage of the Royal Ascot Festival.
Both shows will be taken off the air as the Royal Ascot will air daily from 1.30pm to 6pm. Tipping Point, hosted by Ben Shephard usually airs at 4pm on weekdays and features four contestants competing through questions and counters to win £10,000.

The Chase, hosted by Bradley Walsh follows at 5pm, and pits contestants against expert quizzers for a cash prize. Instead of these beloved afternoon shows, ITV will broadcast Royal Ascot coverage from 1.30pm to 6pm this week until Saturday (June 24).
But viewers can breathe a sigh of relief as they can relive their favourite moments from Tipping Point and The Chase on the streaming platform, ITVX, with a celebrity special of The Chase set to air on Saturday. Both Tipping Point and the original version of The Chase will return to the regular schedule next week on Monday evening, June 26.
The Royal Ascot Festival will see the attendance of King Charles, Queen Camilla, and other members of the Royal Family throughout the week. This year, there will be a tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth's life and reign. It will honour her love for horses and Ascot, featuring a special exhibition showcasing some of her 24 winners.
Queen Elizabeth II was a regular attendee of the event, with her absence in 2020 due to the coronavirus being the only exception.
