Staff and pupils at Rackenford C of E Primary School are celebrating after another positive Ofsted inspection. The Devon village school has received a rating of ‘Good’ – a status the school has held for more than 15 years.
In a report following the assessment in January, the first since 2018, Ofsted highlighted the school’s high expectations for all pupils with a “broad and balanced curriculum that is adapted well for mixed age classes”. The report stated that the school has a close-knit ‘family feel’ and that staff are proud to work there. The safeguarding is effective and the vast majority of parents are happy with what the school offers their children.
