A worker has died following an incident at a farm in Cornwall. An investigation by Devon and Cornwall Police and the Health and Safety Executive is now under way.
Emergency services, including police and air ambulance, were sent to a field near Trispen, Truro, at 7.30am on Thursday, April 11, after receiving reports of an industrial accident. Upon their arrival, they found a man in his 30s who was sadly confirmed dead at the scene.
An investigation into the incident, which is understood to have happened at a site is linked to Southern England Farms, is under way. A file will be prepared for the coroner.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police stated: "Police were called by the ambulance service at around 7.30am on Thursday 11 April following reports of an industrial incident at a field near Trispen, Truro.
"Officers, along with the Air Ambulance, attended the scene where a male in his 30s was pronounced deceased. His next of kin has been informed. Police and Health and Safety Executive are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. A file will be prepared for the coroner," reports Cornwall Live.
A representative from the Health and Safety Executive said: "We are aware of this incident and making enquiries alongside Devon and Cornwall Police."
