Famous Devon attraction unveils new magical fairyland
Babbacombe Model Village can't wait to show off its new mythical kingdom experience
Sometimes we need a bit of escapism in our lives, to take a step back and maybe look at the bigger picture. Babbacombe Model Village is a place where you can get both of these things with a new mythical kingdom being added to the famous miniature attraction on July 22.
After 18 months of painstaking delicate work in conjunction with the Victorian Model Workshop, phase one of the indoor mythical kingdom has finally been finished. Walk through the carefully built fairytale land with over 30 miniature animatronic characters coming to life while amazing theming, sounds and magical lighting immerse you into this mythical experience.
All of the scenes are bespoke and crafted by hand, ensuring amazing attention to detail along with lots of hidden humour. Fairies, goblins, dragons, trolls, owls, pixies, leprechauns and more, all come to life in their miniature worlds.
In a statement about the new attraction, a Babbacombe Model Village spokesperson said: "Whether an adult, child, casual admirer or model enthusiast, we are certain you will be awed by our new creation."
Phase one is the main part of the attraction and will be open on 22 July. Phase two will still be under construction at the beginning of the opening so tourists will be able to watch the team working on the final touches of the second phase.
