Police have launched an investigation after 19 ewes and 24 lambs were killed in a horrific dog attack in Devon. Police were alerted to reports of a dog attack on a farm near Tavistock on Sunday, February 4, where a number of sheep were severely injured.
It is believed that a dog or dogs made their way onto the farm and attacked the flock overnight, killing 19 ewes and 24 lambs. Police have spoken to the land owner and enquiries are ongoing.

It was reported on a social media post that the dog or dogs responsible for the attack have not been located. People are warned to be vigilant of stray dogs in the Tavistock and Lamerton area.
