For many of us, December means one thing: Christmas. But it also means lots of football.
For some, one of the highlights of the festive period is tucking into that leftover Christmas dinner and kicking back with some Boxing Day football. But before that, there’s a whole round of midweek Premier League action to get stuck into.
There’s 20 midweek Premier League matches scheduled on December 5-7 that will be broadcast exclusively on Amazon’s Prime Video. Amazon will also broadcast a further 10 live Premier League matches in the hotly anticipated Boxing Day round of fixtures on December 26-28.

Beginning on December 5, Prime Video will be showing two games, Wolves vs Burnley and Luton vs Arsenal before Wednesday, December 6 hosts six games including Manchester United vs Chelsea and Aston Villa vs Manchester City. December 7 will finish off this round of Amazon broadcast fixtures with two big ties in the form of Everton vs Newcastle and Tottenham vs West Ham United.
There’s five games to enjoy on Boxing Day, starting with Newcastle vs Nottingham Forest in the early kick off all the way up to Manchester United v Aston Villa in the evening. The following days include several London derbies, with Chelsea v Crystal Palace and Arsenal v West Ham United on December 27 and 28 respectively.
As part of Amazon’s coverage, each match will have full analysis from pundits and an alternative audio option available so fans can listen to the stadium atmosphere rather than commentary. There will also be full match replays and highlights which will be available for seven days following the match.
Signing up to multiple streaming services to watch your team in action throughout the season can be a financial stretch, especially around Christmas. Luckily, there’s a way you can enjoy every game for free.
