Devon & Cornwall Police teams in Torbay are appealing to find the owners of items suspected to have been stolen. The cops are aiming to get the items returned to their rightful homes.
On Tuesday, March 9, the Paignton neighbourhood police team carried out a warrant on a residential property. It resulted in them finding a number of items they suspect to be stolen from addresses across the Torbay area.
The investigation into the individual who is suspected of stealing the goods is currently on-going. But officers are hoping to return the items seized to the rightful owners.

“Officers are currently searching police systems to find reports of stolen goods to locate potential owners. To support with our investigation, we would also like to appeal to the public for their help - have you recently had one of the items listed stolen, or do you know someone who has?
“If you do - please come forward and report this to us. You can do this by filling out an online report on the Devon & Cornwall Police website, or by calling 101. Please quote the following reference number when calling or logging the report online: 50240083564.”
When contacting the police about the stolen items, please ensure you have insurance claim documentation, or crime reference numbers, and if possible, any images of the item(s).
Insp Giesens added: “Burglaries have a far-reaching impact on our communities, affecting people’s wellbeing and livelihoods. Offenders that commit these crimes not only invade people’s homes and vehicles, but also their sense of security, invading a space where they are meant to feel safe. Police teams across Torbay will not tolerate these crimes, and our officers will be doing what they can to ensure offenders are arrested.”
