The A38 in Devon is partially closed following an earlier collision leading to heavy congestion. According to National Highways, one lane on the eastbound carriageway between Newton Abbot and Exeter Racecourse has been closed.
This is the result of a collision. At this time it is unclear how many vehicles are involved or if anyone has been injured. DevonLive has contacted Devon and Cornwall Police for more information.
National Highways estimates at least 30 additional minutes have been added to journey times. A spokesperson for National Highways has also confirmed officers from Devon and Cornwall Police are at the scene.
