An A-road in North Devon is closed following a landslip. The incident on the A377 is among several on the roads on Devon on Tuesday morning following overnight weather conditions.
The Met Office had issued a yellow weather warning for wind for large parts of the county, while a series of flood warnings were also in place. While the warning has now passed, it is still windy across Devon, with more rain set to fall.
Traffic reporting website Inrix says that A377 near Chulmleigh is in both directions closed due to landslip from James's Week Lane to Chawleigh turn off. There are also reports of fallen tree on A3124 in both directions near Hollocombe Moor Cross near Winkleigh and a fallen tree on the A39 between Welcome Cross and Meddon Cross.
Devon Alert added that the traffic signals at Sandygate roundabout, M5 junction 30 have failed. Motorists are being warned that there could be delays to their journeys.
