Mole Valley Farmers have confirmed that an IT incident led to shock closure of all stores for a day. While all Mole Valley Farmers and Mole Country Stores have reopened, the 'operational challenges' they face means the reopening is limited.
The exact nature of the technical issue which led to the closures on Sunday has not been confirmed. But a statement on the website of the firm, which has stores across Devon and Cornwall, refers to an IT incident.
The statement adds that their retail stores are currently only able to and continue to trade on a limited basis. Orders placed online may also be delayed as a result of the technical issues.
