Casual food and beverage assistant

The local authority is looking for engaging individuals who have great customer service skills to help support the delivery of food and beverage offerings across the leisure service, covering holidays, sickness and peak times, in the role of casual food and beverage assistant.

You will be required to support the day-to-day food and beverage operations and provide a warm, friendly, professional atmosphere and high standard of customer service at all times.

It is essential that you hold a current Food Handling Certificate, have a good understanding of health and safety and have previous experience working within a café or restaurant environment.

Casual lifeguard

Exeter City Council is currently seeking committed and proactive individuals who are willing to go the extra mile in the role of a casual lifeguard/recreational assistant within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

You may be an experienced lifeguard/recreational assistant, a recently qualified lifeguard, or someone who is looking to take first steps in the leisure industry.

It is preferable that you already hold a National Pool Lifeguarding Qualification (NPLQ) however, full training and certification will be provided for the right individual.

Swim teacher

In this post, you will deliver swimming lessons to all ages and abilities using the Swim England’s learn-to-swim framework whilst providing a warm, friendly, professional atmosphere and high standard of customer care at all times.

You will ensure the successful delivery of an exceptional Swim School Programme, ensuring lessons are delivered of the highest standard whilst promoting excellent customer service.
