A one-of-a-kind event is being thrown this Halloween at the home of the original Predator from Arnold Schwarzenegger's hit film - and it's all for a good cause. The team behind popular Devon festival Funk Up The Farm is throwing The Sexy Sci-Fi Halloween Rave as a one-off event to raise money for Wrights Care Farm in Kentisbury, North Devon.
The farm offers accessible and therapeutic experiences for autistic children and vulnerable adults, but the team are facing eviction due to increasing mortgage rates. Funk Up The Farm has now teamed up with Broomhill Estate, which is home to the original Predator, Alien models, and many other sci-fi artefacts, to bring this fundraising event - and proceeds will go towards relocating the therapy animals from the farm.

Sarah Lacey, director of Funk Up The Farm, said: "We hope to raise enough money to relocate the animals safely and create a new care farm elsewhere, so that the people who benefit so much from it can continue to do so.
"There is no other care farm quite like this one in the area, without it, the loss for the children will have a huge negative impact on their quality of life. The animals risk being sold and sent to the slaughterhouse if we cannot save them."
The Sexy Sci-Fi Halloween Rave will be held on Saturday, October 28, and will run from midday until 2am - with music from sought-after drum and bass DJ Natty Lou and a multitude of house and jungle DJs from all over the southwest.
Tickets are available from £35 plus booking fee, and indoor camping and hot tub packages are available.
