A person is fighting for their life after falling onto the train tracks in Torquay this morning (April 15). Emergency services were called to the scene at around 10.18am.
Police rushed to the train line and a person was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The incident has led to train delays and cancellations across south Devon.
British Transport Police said: "Officers were called to the line in Torquay at around 10.18am today (15 March) following reports that a person had fallen onto the tracks. Officers attended and the victim was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries."
