Eighties pop icon Rick Astley is the final headline act confirmed for this summer’s Party on the Pitch at Sandy Park stadium in Exeter. The ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ singer is bringing his infectious energy and unforgettable hits to the Westcountry on Sunday, June 18.

Party on the Pitch is taking place over two consecutive weekends. Other headline acts already announced include Ronan Keating on June 17, Will Young on June 24, Gabrielle and Soul II Soul on June 25 – with support from Blue, East 17, Corinne Bailey Rae, Natalie Imbruglia and The Real Thing.

Rick Astley has remained a beloved figure in the music industry for over three decades. His distinctive voice, catchy melodies and undeniable charm have earned him a legion of devoted fans around the world.

Now, those fans will have the chance to see him perform live in concert with a setlist that is sure to include all of his greatest hits, along with some of his latest material. During his distinguished career, Rick has picked up numerous awards including a Brit Award in 1988, four Billboard Music Awards, three Ivor Novello Awards and, more recently, three Classic Pop Awards in 2018.

He is set to be joined on the stage on Sunday, June 18, by an as yet unnamed special support act, who will be confirmed in the coming weeks. Tickets for the concert will go on sale from the Sandy Park ticket hub on Friday at 12 noon.
