Sex and the City is returning in a new format for a 10-part series - with three of the original lead stars.
The series, called And Just Like That, will air on HBO Max, the network has announced.
It is the same network creating the Friends reunion.
Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis have agreed to star in while Kim Cattrall will not be back.
The show will begin filming in the spring, reuniting the characters Carrie Bradshaw, Miranda Hobbes and Charlotte York Goldenblatt.
It will be their first tie back together since the second film in 2010.
HBO head of original content, Sarah Aubrey, said: "I grew up with these characters, and I can't wait to see how their story has evolved in this new chapter, with the honesty, poignancy, humor and the beloved city that has always defined them."
Sex and the City originally ran for six seasons from 1998 to 2004 and was followed by two films in 2008 and 2010.
