Stacey Solomon has shared a heartfelt farewell on social media alongside her husband Joe Swash, as they wrap up their family holiday. The popular TV personality took to Instagram to post an endearing photo with the former EastEnders actor.

The 34-year-old star of ITV's Loose Women wrote: "Time to say goodbye... The state of us. I had to bribe our family home from the caravan park today ... because it's back to school tomorrow."

As reported by Birmingham Live Stacey expressed her fondness for holiday parks. She said: "There must be some kind of stigma around holiday parks because so many of you messaged saying you couldn't believe that's where we'd chosen to go!"

She defended her choice passionately, adding: "Honestly I think they're THE best. I don't care what anyone says, there's just something so magical for kids about a holiday park! The freedom, fresh air, the giant characters, the stepping into a different world and forgetting all concept of time."

Describing the charm of their getaway, she added: "It's special. Everyone is slightly dishevelled, we have no clean clothes left, our hands stink of two p's. We had a thousand tickets from the arcade that got us some sweets and a sling shot when we cashed them in. Now it's time to get us all in the bath, get that washing machine on and get ready for the school runs in the morning.

Fans rushed to share their experiences as well. "I used to love Trecco Bay but it's all changed now and doesn't feel the same as it used to. I'm a Butlins girl now haha," one fan shared, reflecting on their own holiday park experiences. "Looks like you had the most amazing time. Nothing like just letting go and having fun. You were great on 'this morning today Stacey' BTW, so adorable you are," another follower said.

Another chimed in: "Some of my best memories as a child were from caravans parks! Can't wait to make them core memories for my babies."

Meanwhile, another fan reminisced: "We had the best holidays and memories in Cornwall and Parkdean parks, the bingo and dance offs were the best, the kids don't know the difference especially when they are little it's about having fun and who cares what others think @staceysolomon you do you."
