A woman in Plymouth was left with neck injuries after a reported attack in the city centre. The incident happened on Sunday, March 3, outside Poundland on New George Street in the city
Officers were called to the scene following a report that a woman in her 20s had been injured on her neck by a man. Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward following the incident.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: “Police are investigating a reported assault on a woman in Plymouth. Officers were called by ambulance at 3.30pm on Sunday 3 March following reports that a woman had been injured on the neck by a man in New George Street.
"The woman in her 20s was treated at the scene for a scratch to her neck. Anyone with information is asked to contact police online or by telephone on 101, quoting crime reference 50240051796.”
